Team Laughing Dog nears Indianapolis

As of Wednesday night, Team Laughing Dog was six days into the 2013 Race Across America, heading east just south of Indianapolis, Indiana, all the while trying to raise money and awareness for local non-profit 24 Hours for Hank.

Today is the third of four profiles on the riders, taking a closer look at Dean Kyraiakos, a self-employed 48 year-old riding in his first ever RAAM.

Meet Dean Kyriakos

• Favorite movie: Hoosiers, it was really inspirational.

• The first thing you’ll do when you cross the finish line: Hug the crew for getting me there.

• What do you love most about riding bikes: The landscape of the country, seeing beauty at a slow pace.
