Proposed plan is simply disgusting

There are simply no words to describe the outrage and disgust I am feeling over the decision to shoot ravens in the Colburn area. How is it possible that a decision like this can be made?

Humans continue to annihilate any animal that causes them inconvenience without giving a single thought to the fact that they are taking the life of a living thing, as if it didn’t matter or have any value. Animals deserve the same respect and the same right to live as humans do. There should be no difference.

Ravens are highly intelligent creatures and unlike humans, they mate for life. There is much we can learn from them with regards to relationships. We do not have the right to end their existence because they are causing us some kind of a problem.

If humans are the most intelligent species on the planet, then they should be smart enough to figure out how to live in harmony with these magnificent birds without “death” being the only solution.

They should instead focus on finding creative ways to work around whatever inconveniences our so called “lawmakers” think these ravens are causing. Like us, these birds are simply trying to survive and they have just as much right to be here as we do. Not everyone agrees with decisions to kill animals and it is time that our human lawmakers stop taking the easy way out.

Enough is enough.

I hope there are others that will come forward and speak in defense of these magnificent creatures as these “crimes against nature” must come to an end.
