Crying poverty and waltzing to the bank

In short, this is accomplished by fleecing the taxpayer. As I recall, a few years ago, there was no assistant administrator in the LPOSD. This position was created with a grant, sold to the school board with their approval by Dick Cvitanich.

You see folks, this is how you grow the empire. First fund it with grants, the grants expire and then throw it on the backs of the taxpayer. After all, it is for the children.

We now have yet another administrative position at a cost of $125,147 per year, including health benefits.

In fact, the top ten positions come at a cost of $1,036,310. The coaching salaries total $919,426. They are also looking for “longevity” pay. After all, it is for the children. In reality, it is nothing more than legal plunder. Eighty-five percent of this proposed levy is for salaries and benefits. Vote “no.”
