Good schools attract businesses, families

Statewide, LPOSD receives almost the lowest amount of local school tax dollars yet administrators, staff and educators continue to churn out some of the state’s gems — well-educated kids and top-notch schools.
Not passing the levy could jeopardize vocational classes that help jump start kids toward a technical education, or provide a start on college courses while they are still in high school. These classes are extremely valuable, especially for the student who may not see a four-year college as an option, or the college hopeful who can save time and money by completing basic core requirements in high school.
Good schools attract good business, and this keeps our community alive and healthy. Please vote yes on March 12.
