Remember to vote on the LPOSD levy

I am writing to encourage everyone to get out and vote on the upcoming levy.

I am a teacher in my 16th year with Lake Pend Oreille High School. Like most teachers, I find myself each year having to purchase more and more supplies out of pocket and the future isn’t looking much better.

Over the past several years educational funding has been cut at both the state and federal levels. Placing more and more of the funding burden on local districts. Currently, Idaho ranks 50th in per student funding.

Please support the schools who continue to do more and more with less for your children.
