Vote yes to support our schools, children
“It takes a village to raise a child.” An often used adage, appropriate in this instance. Simply: our schools require the continued support of the community in order to function.
LPOSD already operates under an extremely tight budget (33 percent of which derives from the existing levy), yet the teachers and students continually impress. For example; Sandpoint High School received the highest SAT score in the state for math and reading, and Clark Fork High School has been recognized for the last five years, by U.S. News and World Report, as one of Americas best rural high schools.
Let us support these achievements; remembering also that children’s lives are enriched through exposure to music, art, athletics, and other extra-curricular activities; all of which are fully funded by the levy.
A vote in favor of the levy is a vote for our children and their educators — your vote counts!
