Meulenberg appointed magistrate court judge

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Prosecuting Attorney Lori Meulenberg was appointed Bonner County's newest magistrate court judge on Friday.

The Magistrate Commission for the 1st Judicial District made the appointment after more than four hours of interviews.

Meulenberg succeeds Judge Barbara Buchanan, who was appointed to fill a vacancy on the 1st District Court bench earlier this year.
