Most legislators are not Pro Bowl material

| March 12, 2013 7:00 AM

Sometimes political events defy description; e.g., the Idaho Senate voting to sign us up for Obamacare (Thursday, Feb. 21, S1042). Perhaps a football analogy will help:

1. Idaho opposed the law by passing the ball to the U.S. Supreme Court

2. The court passed the ball back to Idaho

3. The Idaho Senate handed the ball to the feds. They did not fumble the ball, they handed it to the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services

4. Twelve senators voted against the play. The rest are not Pro Bowl material
