Vogel scores nine in all-star game

MULLAN — Post Falls senior Brooke Litalien led all scorers for the West to earn Most Valuable Player honors in a 97-54 win against the East in the annual District 1 girls All-Star Game on Friday at the Mullan Pavilion.

Sandpoint’s Jordan Speelmon added four points for the West in the rout.

Caelyn Orlandi of Coeur d’Alene High, who won the girls 3-point contest, added 17 points for the West.

Clark Fork’s Tessa Vogel scored nine points and teammate Mariah Miller added six, and Kami McKinnon of Mullan scored a team-high 19 points for the East in defeat.
