Locals compete in hoops all-star game
MULLAN — Clark Fork’s Joey Hazinsky scored six points, and Sandpoint’s Isaiah Lutz and Nick Nelson combined for nine for the East team, which lost 102-78 to the West at the District 1 All-Star game late Friday night in Mullan.
Post Falls’ forward Keaton Corr earned MVP honors with a team-high 25 points to lead the West, as area seniors from North Idaho played in their final high school game.
At halftime, Evan Moe of Bonners Ferry won the 3-point contest and Lake City’s Riley Moreen won the slam dunk contest.
