Eunice Geneva (Woods) Lynch

| March 30, 2013 9:00 PM

Surrounded in the presence of family and friends, Eunice Geneva (Woods) Lynch peacefully went to be with her loved ones in Heaven, on March 3, 2013, from complications stemming from pneumonia.

She is survived by her son, Larry Lynch; daughter, Karen (Woods) Davis; grandson, Sidney Brown; two stepdaughters, Connie Morrow and Judy Holman; nephew, Rob Baker and many step-grandchildren.

She was born on Nov. 5, 1928 in Grenora, N.D., to Ray and Carrie Woods. The family including brothers Clifford and Charles and sisters Mabel and Lillian, later moved from Grenora to Wolf Point, Mont., where Eunice attended school through the sixth grade. From there, the family moved to Great Falls, Mont., where she completed her sixth through freshman year.

The second oldest sister, Lillian, moved from there to Clarkson, Wash., and Eunice and her mother, Carrie followed. It was there where Eunice graduated from Charles Francis Adams High School in 1946.

Upon graduation, she attended a local vocational school where she became proficient in bookkeeping which provided employment opportunities beginning at First Security Bank in Lewiston, Idaho, and then for the Lewiston Grange Supply.

She married her best friend, Lawrence Duane Lynch, in 1964 and together they camped, fished, hunted and share precious times with family and friends, until his passing in 1999.

Eunice’s passion for life and family in her younger years is captured in the many photographs, most taken and developed by her. She never traveled from home without her trusty camera.

She was a devoted mother to Karen and Larry. A few years after Larry’s birth, the family moved to Clark Fork, Idaho.

Throughout her life, she never met anyone she didn’t befriend. Though quiet in demeanor, her love for family and friends were huge. Her kitchen table was also welcome for a visitor to sit and have a cup of coffee. Eunice was an animal lover, and was never without a cat or dog, or maybe two, to love on.

In her latter months, she had the wonderful friendships with her caregiver, Renee Dipre and with Kerri Williams and her children. Eunice is preceded in death by her parents, husband Duane, and brothers and sisters.

All of us who remain will share the bond of the void we will carry until the time we are reunited with her. A memorial service for Eunice will be held at a later date.

Mom, Grandma, we’ve loved you and always will …
