State should opt out of medical exchange

Obama’s medical exchanges suggest they can be “Our Own.” In reality they must have all elements approved by Obama Administration cheerleaders.

Sure, add more benefits which will increase costs. As you have learned by now Obama is a professional liar, his record blatantly verifies that fact. Since our Supreme Court said the federal government cannot force us to buy medical insurance, there is the loophole which Obama needs, e.g. Medicaid.

The venality (bribe) is feds’ subsidy of 100 percent of Medicaid expansion which is needed to ensure everybody will be covered. The subsidy runs to 2018, decreases to 90 percent thereafter. But the Democrat party is under duress to stop deficit spending. Then when the GOP caves in to Democrat deficits, the GOP packs up and heads to Bosnia or Zimbabwe. But hey, Idaho is also hurting big time for money.

If the Democrats act in a responsible fashion (cold day somewhere), the deficit must be reduced. Then a rare balanced budget must be met. Entitlements will be reduced — e.g. Head Start eliminated (fat chance) — shown by a federal government study up through third grade to have no benefit in spite of all the billions of dollars thrown at this government babysitting program. Pay attention, that was a government study, not by a conservative group.

Public officials have mostly forgotten Obama’s mantra, the three Rs — redistribution, restitution and revenge. Socialism (long live Margaret Thatcher) is on the verge of making us a third world item. Remember the USA’s financial downgrade. We’re running out of money in spite of Bernanke’s printing presses.
