Currie blazes a 73 to lead Bulldogs at Links
POST FALLS — David Currie fired a one-over par 73, just two strokes off of medalist honors, to lead the Bulldogs to their best team score of the year on Thursday at the Lakeland Invitational on Thursday at The Links Golf Course in Post Falls.
The team score of 347 was the lowest of the season for the Bulldogs, as Jarod Presnell also carded a respectable 83.
“They were having trouble putting on the fast greens,” said Bulldogs head coach Tom Tharp. “We’re hitting the ball well, we just need to do a little better on the greens.”
The Bulldogs will be fighting to make state on Monday at the 4A Region 1 golf tournament in Lewiston.
