A remarkable man, Robinson will be missed

I was saddened to learn that my good friend and colleague, Phil Robinson, passed away two days ago after a courageous battle against cancer. Phil will be missed by many people. Phil was a tremendous attorney and also a warm, generous man who constantly gave of himself to others. If you had a legal question, Phil was always willing to take the time to quickly respond and offer advice. He was knowledgeable in the law and he was a champion in the courtroom.

What I will also recall is that Phil could battle you hard in the courtroom all day, never let it get personal, and then at the end of the battle, he was still your friend. He was remarkable.

I will miss Phil. He was a trusted friend and just an admirable man. Phil believed in justice and in doing things the right way. I will miss him as a trusted friend and mentor.
