Ray, Spagon deserve seats on library board

I would like to encourage Bonner County residents to vote for Gloria Ray and Jim Spagon for the two positions available for the East Bonner County Library board of directors.

Gloria Ray has been employed at the East Bonner County Library for 27 years, including fulfilling the position as the library director for a short time. I have known her for most of that time and have always had a great deal of respect for her. She was one of the founding members of the Friends of the Library and continues to help with the book sales after her retirement. Since her retirement, she has continued working for the library as a volunteer in several capacities. Gloria probably knows more about the library and its functions than anyone in Bonner County and, because of that, will be the best candidate to fill a position on the board.

Jim Spagon is an incumbent as a member of the board and has contributed much to the library. His work experience and qualifications have proven to be most beneficial during his five years as a member of the board of directors. Please keep Jim as a member of the board so we may continue to take advantage of his leadership.

Please get out and vote for Gloria Ray and Jim Spagon as members of the board of directors of the East Bonner County Library.
