Vote for experience; elect Ray, Gunter

Tuesday, May 21, the community will have a unique opportunity when voting for two candidates for the East Bonner County Library Board.

Wayne Gunter and Gloria Ray both have been a part of this library community for many years and therefore bring their experience and knowledge with them. How exciting to have such qualified applicants for these positions with such a vested interest in this library.

Wayne Gunter, who was the director for many years, brought this beautiful building the community enjoys to fruition in 2000. Under his leadership and careful budget handling, it has shown steady growth. Wayne was always at the forefront of bringing new library experiences to the patrons, including technology and media.

Gloria Ray brought her skills to make this collection not only a library for popular materials but rich in local history, reference and materials with a broad view of social issues. She has been the library ambassador in the finest sense of the word, spreading the ideas and services to anyone who would listen.

Now, both retired, these two people not only have the background of the library but also the understanding of what it takes to keep our library vibrant and sound. Please consider them for your vote.
