Bulldogs announce track awards
Senior Todd Pays, who finished sixth in the shot put and 11th in the discus at state recently, won the coach’s award for throwing at the recent Bulldog track team awards banquet at SHS.
Other award winners were: Sam Levora, Most Valuable Track Athlete; Nikole Alamillo, Most Valuable Field Athlete; Lily DeAragon and Tim Prummer, sprint awards; Matthew Burgstahler and Mikhaela Woodward, distance awards; Pays and Cassie Young, throwing awards; Chase Rodriguez, Lani Wahl and Maddie Suppiger, jump awards; Grant Kennaly, Sydney Foster and Claire Pierce, coach’s awards; Nathan Schwartz and Madi Schoening, newcomer awards; and Tim Redford (class salutatorian) and Suppiger (class valedictorian), academic awards.
The varsity girls were also awarded the Distinguished Team Scholastic Award for a collective GPA of more than 3.7, and the varsity boys earned the award for a collective GPA of 3.25.
