Taxpayers hit again on ever-ending remodel

County commissioners have, once again, approved more money for the never-ending courthouse remodel; around $54,000 this time. The $1 million project is now close to $6.5 million and that probably does not include the cost of relocating all the staff and equipment to other buildings during this lengthy process.
When it is completed, the interior will be very nice, surely, but the building itself looks a lot like a boarded up warehouse in Detroit and there are still way too few parking spaces. Someone has made a lot of money on this deal and we all know who is paying for it.
