Chamber offers Facebook classes

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce fall social media workshops.

Course dates for the workshops, which are sponsored by Holiday Inn and Suites, have been set for business professionals and owners.

Whether you are brand new to Facebook or are looking for new fresh ideas for your social media strategy, there is a course for everyone, said Mack Deibel, chamber communications manager.

“Whether you are the business owner or you send your manager, these workshops will make it easier for consumers to find your business, increase brand recognition, create brand ambassadors, show you care about your business,” said Deibel. “When you’re active and present on Facebook, it shows consumers you care about your brand and their needs and expectations as consumers.”

The chamber is holding two introductory courses and one intermediate course. There are total of three courses being held in the fall sessions, ranging dates from Oct. 4-25, with different times for everyone’s convenience.
