Sandpoint company keeps the focus on natural
SANDPOINT — When it comes to dealing with the everyday necessities of life, it’s hard to find better products than those produced locally.
That’s a philosophy Amy Rohrich endorses wholeheartedly. Inspired by a do-it-yourself attitude and the drive to cut chemicals out of common products, she produced her own line of insect repellent, antibacterial ointment and remedies under the name Amy’s All Naturals. The product line is available regionally at Sandpoint Super Drug, Co-op Country Store, Odie’s Bayside Grocery at Garfield Bay, Peck’s Farm, Feed and Grocery in Sagle, Super 1 in Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry and Pilgrim’s Market in Coeur d’Alene. Online orders are also possible at www.amysallnaturals.com.
“I love all the wonderful outdoor activities Sandpoint has to offer, but all the cuts, scrapes, bug bites and sunburns are a pain,” Rohrich said. “I will continue to create all-natural, chemical and toxin-free products for my family and yours.”
The products are the kind most families require just to get through the week. Parents will be glad to have a handy container of Cut Dr. — an antibacterial and antifungal ointment for cuts and scrapes — when the kids come in from playtime a bit worse for wear. Similarly, Lip Dr. balm should do the trick to prevent dryness and chapping from sun, wind, cold and more. Slow Sizzle After Sun Spray is just the thing to soothe sunburns, while Starvin’ Skeeter keeps mosquitos, ticks and flies away without resorting to nasty chemicals. Slimming Tea and PMS Relief Tea round out the inventory, combining a relaxing tea blend with some practical benefits.
“I know Sandpoint is going to love these products!” Rohrich said.
An individual with five years of chemical-free formula creation under her belt, Rohrich got her start after becoming reluctant to use chemical-based products on her children. She set to work on research and product creation, and as a result, a whole line of home living products came to be.
“I created these products and more to solve the issues in my own family safely and without toxins, and now I want to share them with our community,” Rohrich said.
