CLARK FORK — A surprise visit from a guest coach paid dividends, as Clark Fork dispatched Wallace 25-13, 25-16, 23-25, 25-10 on Thursday in North Star League volleyball action at Clark Fork High School.

Longtime Sandpoint club head coach Jack Dyck ran a practice on Wednesday night, and Wampus Cats head coach Cindy Derr said the team responded well.

“It made a huge difference,” said Derr. “The kids saw another perspective, and he helped them a lot on their serving.”
