SANDPOINT — Mariah Kluver tallied nine digs and four jump serve aces, and Hannah Neumann hammered nine kills, leading Sandpoint to a 25-15, 25-16, 25-9 straight set win over Lakeland in 4A Inland Empire League volleyball Tuesday night at Les Rogers Court.

Taylor Martin added nine kills, Lexi Riley seven, Hailey Dunn 20 set assists and Anna Alsager two blocks for the Bulldogs (19-11, 3-0 4A IEL), who were never threatened while playing in front of the biggest home crowd of the year on Senior Night.

“They did everything right tonight, passing as well as we have all year,” said Bulldog assistant coach Shaune Montgomery of the seniors, praising the play of Kennedy Search in the setting game. “She did a great job of moving the ball around, setting and serving well.”

Lakeland (5-12, 0-4 4A IEL) had trouble setting up offense from the Bulldogs’ power serving.

Emma Liband, Kluver, Search and Neumann were each honored before the game.

Sandpoint hosts Coeur d’Alene on Thursday.
