Where are the voices we need to hear?

Obama wants to push through his health care, won’t negotiate with Republicans, and so he, not Republicans, shut down the government.

He’s defunded payments for funerals for our brave troops killed in battle, canceled death benefits for their families, and had barricades put in front of World War II and Vietnam war memorials. How shameful. And how sad to see these old men, who came on the honor flights, at the barricades with tears in their eyes.

Republican Congressmen paid to have the barricades taken down for them.

A woman at the hotel in Yellowstone said when the shutdown happened, the hotel doors were barricaded and rangers with guns were patrolling outside! This sounds like a police state. And any conservative and/or Christian group or person who stands up against any of these things is smeared or “investigated.”

Martin Muller survived a Nazi concentration camp. He said, “The Nazis came for the communists. I was not a communist, so I didn’t say anything. Then they came for the Jews. I was not a Jew, so I didn’t say anything. Then they came for the trade unionists. I was not a trade unionist, so I didn’t say anything. Then they came for the Catholics. I was not a Catholic, so I didn’t say anything. Then they came for me, and there was nobody left to say anything.”

Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
