SMS cross country team wraps up season

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint Middle School boys cross country team finished first and the girls team second among seven North Idaho teams recently in the final middle school meet of the season.

Will Lange finished third, Cole Baillie fifth, Dylan Baillie seventh, Sawyer Seley eighth and Sloan Woodward 10th to lead the Bullpup boys to a seven point win over runner up over Canfield.

Katherine Kaul was second, Niah Brass third and Sharon Rowe fourth to lead the Bullpup girls, who finished 17 points behind Post Falls.

The future remains bright for Sandpoint cross country.
