Attitude, abilities make Rognstad the best pick

Anyone who has stopped for morning coffee at Common Knowledge knows that Shelby Rognstad is excited about public policy. He often has intelligent and non-reactive discourse with his friends and customers. Though he is eager to be part of Sandpoint’s future, it is not just enthusiasm that qualifies Rognstad for Sandpoint City Council. His prior experience on the council, position in the business community, and open-minded nature make him the ideal candidate.

Shelby Rognstad has experience on the City Council, which in the last two years has succeeded in balancing the city’s budget. He has voted on difficult and even divisive issues, but always conducts careful research prior to reaching a conclusion.

Rognstad does not make hasty decisions. His responses to situations are well considered, taking into account the viewpoints of all of his constituents.

Finally, Shelby Rognstad is a businessman. He understands both the mechanics and importance of fiscal responsibility. He will continue to bring that disciplined viewpoint to the Sandpoint City Council.
