Schools need simple, balanced approach

Regarding expensive, private sector, untried educational programs, one might suspect plain, old, ugly profiteering.
A simple, low-cost, more balanced approach just might be to lower class size, feed hungry children a healthy meal, have the administrators and the counselors teach actual classes, at least, three hours a day, and solicit parent involvement.
