Wampus Cats drop NSL opener

MULLAN — Sydney Koenig had 16 kills and four blocks to lead the Tigers past the Wampus Cats 20-25, 25-8, 25-19, 25-19 in the North Star League opener for both schools Tuesday at the Mullan Pavilion.

Charli Sadler had 18 assists and four kills and Bree Ploharz seven aces for Mullan (2-0).

Lyndsie Kiebert had five kills, Annie Wurm 10 assists, Miranda Nesbitt two blocks and Leslie Kiebert two aces for Clark Fork (0-2), which hosts Kootenai on Thursday.
