SANDPOINT — Four different players found the back of the net, leading Sandpoint to a 4-0 win over Bonners Ferry in nonleague boys soccer on Friday night at War Memorial Field.

Matthew Burgstahler, Joab Logan, Amos Crossingham and Kyle Stanley scored for the Bulldogs (3-2-1), who had to work for their goals against the Badgers.

“I thought Bonners Ferry played us tough, hustling to loose ball and challenging for 50-50’s. I think they’ll be a force in the 3A classification,” said Bulldogs head coach Adam Tajan. “We moved the ball pretty well, and Amos made a nice run and finish.”

Jake Rookey and Kyle Hertel combined to post a shutout in goal.

The Bulldogs travel to Lakeland on Tuesday for a 4A North League opener.
