Where do fantasy and reality begin, end?
In what at first appeared a refreshing change of pace, our imported resident radical socialist, Mr. Jason Benell, in his Sept. 17 letter, implored the public to debate “reality, and not fantasy.”
He, in fact, listed some legitimate complaints that could be leveled against the Obama administration, (although, one must note, never against Obama himself), while then listing good things Obama has done.
These include Obama’s really good tax plans, which have resulted in a stupendous economic boom; his support of marriage equality for all people, which has resulted in all people being equally married; his refusal ever to act unilaterally without support of Congress, which has given Congress a glimmer of hope that it is still relevant if Obama wants it to be; his magnificent expansion of health benefits while lowering costs for all Americans, which has resulted in all Americans anxiously awaiting their lowering of costs; and his increased funding for renewable energy, which has resulted in excellent expansion of campaign donations for Barack Obama.
Now, to be charitable, I have never known a radical liberal to have a single toe, much less a whole foot, grounded in reality. Liberalism is fantasy, and it’s philosophical existence is devoted heart and soul to it. Do refer to the preceding paragraph as evidence.
Thus, in the delirium that is liberal discourse, Jason makes the understandable error of transposing “fantasy” for “reality,” as in his world they are one and the same.
