Bulldog volleyball team sweeps Post Falls, Moses Lake
POST FALLS — Lexi Riley posted eight kills and four aces, leading Sandpoint past Post Falls 25-10, 25-13, 25-20 on Thursday in a road tri-match.
“We’ve been wanting her to hit the ball like that all the time,” said Bulldogs coach Karen Alsager. “She just really stroked it nice tonight.”
Mariah Kluver added 12 digs, Hailey Dunn 24 assists and Anna Alsager two blocks for the Bulldogs (14-5).
In the second match, Taylor Martin led the way with 12 kills and 12 digs, as the Bulldogs swept Moses Lake 25-10, 25-16, 25-18.
Emma Liband added four blocks and three kills and Hailey Dunn 31 assists from the setter position, running a 5-1 offense as co-setter Kennedy Search was out sick.
“We’re really starting to gel together on the court,” said Alsager. “I’m looking forward to the Crossover, so we can test it against some strong teams.”
