Woolf is best person for controller's post
The state controller’s office may not be the juiciest race on the ballot for the May primary election, but people should know that it is one of the most important offices in state government. The state controller is the chief fiscal officer for the state of Idaho, a $6 billion enterprise, and is charge of paying all the state’s obligations, serves on the board of examiners and land board, and processes payroll for the state’s employees, while also operating the state’s primary data center.
Our current state controller, Brandon Woolf has done a great job. He’s championed transparency, made sure our tax dollars are managed in accordance with the law, encouraged cooperation, and even cut his office’s budget. You cannot be more fiscally conservative than that.
Brandon Woolf is right person for state controller, and I will be voting for him and I hope you will join me because we need an honest and experienced man managing the state’s finances.
