LIBBY, Mont. — Playing shorthanded, Sandpoint was forced to juggle its lineup, falling 16-1 to the reigning Montana class A state champion Frenchtown, and 13-2 to host Libby in a nonleague softball doubleheader on Saturday in Montana.
Playing without shortstop Cody Baldree, who is nursing a badly sprained ankle, and starting catcher Sam Holland, who was on vacation, the Bulldogs (1-5) had a host of players out of position.
