Bulldogs and Bears tie 6-6

MOSCOW — Playing shorthanded and with a handful of first time varsity players, the Sandpoint tennis team did well to earn a 6-6 tie with Moscow on Thursday in a 4A Inland Empire League tennis dual in Moscow.
Micah Buckmiller won 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, Daniel Durfee won 6-4, 7-5 at No. 3 singles to remain undefeated, Collin Jurenka and Michael Durfee notched a 3-6, 6-3, 6-0 comeback win at No. 1 doubles to lead the Bulldogs, and Broc Storro and Patrick Rockwell remained undefeated on the season with a win at No. 2 doubles. Spencer Temple lost in straight sets to round out the boys action.
