Legislators: Session short but productive

SANDPOINT — The 2014 Idaho legislative session was short but productive, introducing a wide range of issues for debate among lawmakers.

Rep. George Eskridge, R-Dover, and Sen. Shawn Keough, R-Sandpoint, gave community members a recap of the session Tuesday at a luncheon hosted by the North Idaho Chamber of Commerce. The pair said the legislature acted on everything from educational measures to mental health crises centers to craft brewing regulations.
