Keough, Eskridge are best picks for region

| April 17, 2014 7:00 AM

Based on the fundamental reasoning behind implementing term limits for our state and national legislators, the concept seems sound. The argument against imposing such limits is Sen. Shawn Keough.

Working on behalf of the new home construction industry in North Idaho, I occasionally have a need to contact one or more of our legislators. I have always been well received by Sen. Keough and Rep. George Eskridge as well. Their willingness to take my phone calls or respond to emails has lead to many reasonable discussions. As an independent voter, that is all I can expect of our legislators.

I encourage you to vote for reasonableness and great representation on May 20 and not be derailed by those that espouse unobtainable goals related to Obamacare and the state health care exchange.

Please seriously consider Sen. Shawn Keough and Rep. George Eskridge when going to the polls on that important day. And I would also throw newcomer Stephen Snedden into that group of good, solid thinkers as well.
