Burglary inquiry leads police to wanted suspect

SPIRIT LAKE — A home burglary investigation and a pair of wet pajama pants led a Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputy to a suspect wanted by law enforcement authorities in two counties.

Deputies booked John H. Baker, 31, into Kootenai County jail Friday at 12:37 a.m.

The Spirit Lake man is accused of burglary, petit theft, possession of stolen property and malicious injury to property.
