How about working to fill empty stores?

It is refreshing to see the politicos in Sandpoint working on something to help keep Sandpoint’s “small town character” but a new sign ordinance? Come on. How about working on a way to fill up the many vacant business locations that currently are in Sandpoint by offering merchants something that is a plus and a new stricter sign ordinance limiting their exposure is certainly not going to do that.
