Beer gardens get Farmin Park test

SANDPOINT — Beer and wine gardens in Farmin Park could become a useful new tool for nonprofit fundraising — if all goes well during the testing phase, that is.

City officials and community members are collaborating on a beer and wine garden fundraiser for nonprofit Bulldog Bench. However, city personnel are keeping a close eye on the event outcome to make sure nothing gets out of hand. Parks and Recreation Director Kim Woodruff is confident Bulldog Bench associates will organize a safe, fun event for everyone involved.
