SANDPOINT — Another meet, another Sandpoint track record goes down, as Sam Levora clocked a 1:57.57 to win the 800 on Saturday in Coeur d’Alene, breaking Preston Martin’s time of 1:58.3, set in 1995.

Levora, who also owns the 3,200 and 1,600 school records, showed that he has the speed to contend for a couple of state titles. Levora also won the 1,600, part of a strong showing by the Bulldog boys, who finished third among eight teams at the meet.
