Tribute honors Ogilvie's legacy

SANDPOINT — It’s fitting that a woman known for uniting people to a common cause should be enshrined in the records of the United States.
Friends and family of the late Marsha Ogilvie take comfort knowing that her achievements are committed to the pages of the U.S. Congressional Record. U.S. Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, visited City Hall Saturday to give Francis Ogilvie, her husband, a few mementos of the speech he delivered on the Senate floor honoring the local community activist. The gifts included a decorative copy of the words recorded in the Congressional Record as well as a DVD covering his delivery of the speech.
