SANDPOINT — Elected officials will receive a round of raises starting January 2016 following a council vote Wednesday.
City Council members’ monthly compensation will increase from $275 to $400 a month, while the mayor’s salary will increase from $1,000 to $1,200 a month. Due to Idaho code, the compensation increases cannot occur until the next city election.
