Free one-day football camp coming Friday to SMS

SANDPOINT — Attention area middle school youth: Are you ready for some football?

Sandpoint Jr. Tackle Football is hosting a free one-night mini camp for any incoming seventh or eighth graders interested in playing football this season.

The camp will be held on Friday, Aug. 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Sandpoint Middle School field. The camp is open to any players, whether signed up for Jr. Tackle or not, and there is no obligation to play or register. Just show up in shorts and cleats ready to have some fun playing football.

Parents of grades three through six can also get information about this upcoming season as well.
