Suppiger scores in defeat for Bulldogs

COEUR d’ALENE — Megan Lowery scored two goals, the second coming in the 69th minute, to lift the Vikings past the Bulldogs 3-1  in a nonleague girls soccer match Thursday at Canfield Middle School.

“It was a tough battle for us,” Coeur d’Alene coach Andy Vredenberg said. “We didn’t play particularly well, but the girls dug in and battled. Sandpoint is tough, they play very physically and were fighting until the last minute. They were very tough.”
