MOSCOW — Senior playmaker Brandan Bowen did everything except sell tickets and popcorn, leading Clark Fork to a decisive 52-8 win over Lewis County in a strong season opener on Friday afternoon at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow.

Bowen had a monster game, rushing for six touchdowns and also returning two interceptions for scores to account for every point, while serving notice that he’ll be a force to be reckoned with this season in the White Star League.

Bowen, who moved from quarterback to running back early in the game, scored three rushing touchdowns to stake the Wampus Cats (1-0, 1-0 WSL) to an 18-8 halftime lead. After a pair of six yard scoring runs capped a couple long drives, Bowen’s 30 yard pick six gave the Cats a 40-8 third quarter lead, essentially ending the game.
