Bulldog wrestlers ninth at Inland Empire tourney

SPOKANE — A handful of Bulldogs claimed first round wins, leading Sandpoint to a ninth-place team finish on day one of the 18 team Inland Empire Wrestling Tournament Friday night at Central Valley High School.

With some of the top Washington high schools on hand, many brackets feature multiple state champions, serving as a great tuneup for the prestigious Tri-State Tournament.
