SANDPOINT — Schweitzer has been granted partial summary judgment on some claims filed by a Texas woman who sued the resort after suffering a head injury in its inner tubing park.

However, some of Melissa Adams’ civil claims remain in play, according to an order by 1st District Judge John T. Mitchell.

Adams, a 50-year-old Houston resident, suffered a head injury in the Hermits Hollow tubing park in February 2013, her suit alleges. Adams was invited to the resort as part of a familiarization tour meant to attract non-local skiers and skiing clubs to Schweitzer.
