SANDPOINT — The Idaho Department of Fish & Game is seeking the public’s help in finding the culprit behind a moose poaching incident.
Conservation officers located the carcass of a dead bull moose near the Middle Fork East River Road northwest of Sandpoint. The animal was shot and left to waste.
The carcass was discovered on Dec. 3, although officers believe the moose was likely poached during the last week of November.
