SANDPOINT — Negotiations may resolve criminal charges against a man who is accused of obtaining Idaho resident hunting and fishing privileges while living in Arizona.

Christopher Scott Quayle is charged with five counts of purchasing the wrong class of license from 2009 to 2013. He is pleading not guilty to the misdemeanor charges.

Quayle was one of 44 people who were identified as applying for resident hunting licenses in both Idaho and Arizona, according to court records. The investigation was conducted jointly by the Idaho Department of Fish & Game and the Arizona Game & Fish Department.
