SANDPOINT — A Washington state man accused of accidentally killing another motorist in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 2 is slated to withdraw his not-guilty plea.

A change of plea hearing in Christopher Dale Jewsbury’s vehicular manslaughter case is set for Jan. 7, 2015, according to court documents.

Jewsbury is accused of driving his pickup truck left of center east of Oldtown last March and crashing into an oncoming sedan driven by Amy Lynn Brady.

Brady, a 39-year-old Pend Oreille County, Wash., resident died at the scene. Jewsbury, 51, of Spokane, was seriously injured and evacuated from the scene in a helicopter.
