Meeting prompts drive to investigate issues

Being concerned resident, I submitted the following request to several officials who attended the closed coal train meeting.

“Pursuant to Idaho Code 9-338, I am making a formal request of copies for any and all public records, including but not limited to; the agenda; an invitation; a list of participants; a response to attend; all notes of such meeting; all emails or other correspondence sent or received relative to the meeting held on Dec. 11, 2014, in Sandpoint, Idaho, discussing the coal train traffic with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, attended by Mayor Carrie Logan. Formal written request to follow by postal mail.”
